I believe the experiences of grief and joy (grief’s counterweight) can be our greatest teachers, and labyrinths can support that learning. We can access our deepest wisdom through labyrinths as they hold and transform the profoundly abstract into a tangible, physical and walkable framework and practice.
I create and facilitate vibrantly lush, energetic labyrinths made of flowers and natural elements. These are impermanent sanctuaries where we can pause, reflect, and reconnect. My spaces are crafted with deep intention, honoring our relationship in nature, the land, our inner worlds and the cycles of life, death, and everything in between.
I am a Veriditas-trained labyrinth facilitator, a grief educator and peer support facilitator, and an end of life doula trained though Doulagivers, Denise Love’s Life Options, and Zen Caregiving Project. I am the founder of The Collabyrinth and launched in January, 2025. Before founding The Collabyrinth, I’ve collaborated with a wide range of organizations such as Endwell, PAUSE, Alameda County Crisis Services, Reimagine, Lakewood Cemetery, Western Hills Garden, The Ruby, Kaiser Hospice, Microsoft, and Compassion and Choices NY. These experiences continue to inform my ever-evolving approach and philosophy to sharing beauty in the pursuit of a life lived meaningfully.
My past professional arc includes co-founding MESO which raised awareness about grief and cultural bereavement; labors of love and purpose in hospitality management for chefs Gabriela Camara, Nancy Oakes, and Cat Cora; and starting my career as a financial analyst for Accenture and oddly, the mafia. I earned my MBA in international finance through Thunderbird and my BA in international relations through Johns Hopkins. I love food, cooking, farmers’ markets, BTS, contemporary art, my awesome kids, and most of the time, my Bernedoodle.
