Designed for the gathering.
How I design:
The labyrinth pattern is only the beginning. I design the conditions around it: how someone approaches, how fast the experience moves, what they see and smell, how much privacy or openness the space offers, how much guidance is present, and how participants can leave their own mark.
The goal is not to prescribe an outcome. It is to create conditions in which multiple outcomes remain possible.
“I like walking because it is slow, and I suspect that the mind, like the feet, works at about three miles an hour. If this is so, then modern life is moving faster than the speed of thought or thoughtfulness.””
